The Love of a Dog

I’m always interested when I hear humans talking about dogs making a difference in other humans’ lives…mainly because humans are so amazed.  Um we dogs know we’re amazing and make a difference!  Sometimes you need a reminder. That’s why I just had to share this beautiful story:

Some monster tied an Anatolian Shepherd to a railroad track where he was hit by a train and lost a leg and his tail.  He made an amazing survival and has gained a new family and special purpose in life.  The dog, Haatchi, has not only helped a young boy in his new family with a rare genetic condition overcome his fear of the outside world, but he’s also become a therapy dog who will start visiting injured soldiers and other sick children.  For the full story, check out the Daily Mail.

Haatchi, I salute you as a wonder dog!  And Owen, you make a dog proud to know a human.
